What work do you do in film exhibition / distribution?

I am a freelance film programmer with a personal focus on East and South East Asian Cinema, a keen interest in platforming women in film, and a passion for highlighting the variety of exceptional films that remain unseen outside the festival circuit.

What have you been working on most recently?

I am currently restarting a project I launched just before the pandemic began – Uncanny Valentine, a film club dedicated to delving into the depths of the psychological experience of Freud’s concept of the ‘Uncanny’ on screen; and researching a season of films centred around the female experience in middle adulthood. I am also pre-selecting shorts for Cork Film Festival and Lanzarote International Film Festival.

What kind of projects are you interested in working on?

I’m eager to work in projects that bring to light bold and distinctive voices in world cinema with a wide and diverse audience in mind. I am interested in projects that seek audience development through community engagement, access and inclusion and champion representation and diversity in the film industry.
